1. Image Quality
There are many things that go into creating a high-precision/high-contrast, bright and crisp screen. We constantly develop our monitor technology, use only high-end materials and carefully calibrate every single monitor during production. As a result of these efforts, you can always rely on excellent image reproduction.
High colour accuracy for ECDIS
The DuraVision FDS1904T monitor’s gamma, brightness, and RGB colour space are calibrated in the factory. The colour rendering and display precisely fulfills the specifications of the ECDIS system and RADAR application in accordance with the IEC 61174, IEC 62288, and IEC 62388 standards.
Large dimming range for changing light conditions
Suitable for day and night operation: Thanks to the wide dimming range from less than 1 cd/m2 to 540 cd/m2, the DuraVision FDS1904T monitor is ideally suited to changing light conditions. This means that the brightness of the monitor can be optimally configured for all ambient lighting and can be used without problems even in dark rooms.
Large viewing angle thanks to VA technology
The VA panel offers a high contrast ratio and a very large viewing angle on the image. The contrast and colours of the image remain the same from almost every viewing angle. The anti-reflection coating also reduces annoying reflections, even when looking at the DuraVision FDS1904T monitor from the side.
Flicker free: for the sake of the eyes
The DuraVision FDS1904T monitor is flicker-free at every brightness setting. The benefit: Your eyes do not get tired as quickly. You can work on the screen for an extended period.

2. Touch functionality : Fast and Secure
A touch screen allows monitors to be operated by finger touch or by stylus. Typing, dragging, rotating, minimising – everything works quickly and directly by touch.

Reliable on the high seas
Heat, cold, vibration – the monitor is able to withstand the permanent strains of the maritime environment. It fulfills the IEC 60945 device standard for the fields of the environment and electromagnetic compatibility required for the licensing of maritime equipment. It also boasts an IP65 rating, and is even protected against dust and hose water getting into it. Other properties: A special coating protects the electronics from moisture. And the ventilator of the DuraVision FDS1904T monitor can be accessed easily for a simple replacement.

Socially responsible production
The DuraVision monitors are produced in a socially responsible way. It is free of child labour and forced labour. Suppliers along the supply chain have been carefully selected and they have also committed themselves to produce in a socially responsible way. This applies in particular to conflict minerals. We present a detailed report about our social responsibility annually and voluntarily.
Environmentally and climate friendly
Each DuraVision monitor is manufactured in our own factory, which implements an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001. This includes measures to reduce waste, wastewater and emissions, resource and energy consumption, as well as to encourage environmentally conscious behaviour among employees. We publicly report on these measures on an annual basis as a main component of our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) report.
Sustainable and durable
The DuraVision monitors are designed for a long service life that takes into account the entire lifecycle and impact on the environment. It is generally well above the five-year guarantee. Spare parts are available up to five years after the end of production.
The monitor’s long service life and the ability to repair it save resources and the climate. When designing the DuraVision we paid attention to reducing resource consumption by using high-quality components and materials and being meticulous in production.
The packaging of the DuraVision consists of cardboard box made of 85% recycled paper, while the transport padding is even 100% recycled material.
