IJsselgemeenten Municipal Association
The Dutch communities of Capelle aan den IJssel and Krimpen aan den IJssel rely on one municipal association when it comes to information and communication technology (ICT): the IJsselgemeenten Association.
The community of Capelle aan den IJssel first opted for EIZO back it 2006, when it purchased the S2202W model. This decision was taken over by affiliated partners when the IJsselgemeenten Association was founded. Today, 1200 different FlexScan monitors are in use throughout the entire association.
The community of Capelle originally chose EIZO because of its monitors’ long service and guarantee.
13 years later, the administrative departments and their employees throughout the entire IJsselgemeenten Association are still very satisfied with the monitors’ image quality and colours. As Jos Hek, Head of the Information Technology and Automation department at the IJsselgemeenten Association, says: “All of our employees are very satisfied with the EIZO monitors. I never hear any complaints about malfunctions or colour distortions.”

The FlexScan EV2216 model is primarily used in the offices, but others like the EV2416 and some 27-inch monitors are used at the GEO workstations. All workstations of the IJsselgemeenten Association and its customers are kitted out with at least one EIZO monitor each.
The phased conversion of its building is to be completed in 2019. Further workstations will be equipped with new EIZO monitors over the course of this process. That’s why tests were carried out to determine which FlexScan model would be the best potential successor to the tried-and-tested EV2216.
