Energy Saving Trust
Energy Saving Trust is an independent organisation dedicated to promoting energy efficiency, low carbon transport and sustainable energy use to help mitigate climate change and deliver the wider benefits of clean energy. They empower householders to make better choices, deliver transformative programmes for governments and support businesses and community groups with strategy, research and assurance.
Since 2017 they have deployed EIZO FlexScan EV2450 into their workflow across their regional offices in London, Cardiff and Edinburgh. As an organisation that works hard to manage its environmental impact it is important that only the most energy efficient appliances are purchased.
EIZO FlexScan monitors were at the top of the list as Glen Haughton, IT Manager at Energy Saving Trust explains, “When selecting new monitors for the organisation, I felt it was important to select a product with impeccable energy saving credentials. These monitors are an appropriate choice for an organisation which not only advises the government and consumers about energy conservation, but leads by example.”
In tests carried out by a member of the Energy Saving Trust team, whose job it is to test manufacturer’s equipment for energy consumption, they found EIZO monitors reduced their monitor power consumption by around 35%.
