Benenden Hospital chooses EIZO FlexScan monitors
Benenden Hospital is an independent hospital based in the heart of Kent, UK. A subsidiary of Benenden Healthcare Society it aims to provide first-class healthcare for private patients, Benenden members and NHS patients.
2017 sees a large redevelopment to the hospital which originally dates back to 1907. Along with the modern refurbishment of the hospital, an update to the hospitals equipment will also be rolled out. Already an existing customer of EIZO’s RadiForce diagnostic monitors, the team at Benenden Hospital are now purchasing from the FlexScan range — the everyday monitors from EIZO.
What was the need?
In the past, the hospital had experienced both poor reliability and user experience with its existing general office application desktop monitors. A recurring issue meant monitors would blow the capacitors and fail following the monthly generator test which resulted in the monitors needing to be replaced each time. Coupled with rising costs, the team started to look at other manufacturers for a reliable, general office monitor solution.

The EIZO solution
Having been introduced to the EIZO FlexScan range the team at Benenden have chosen the EIZO FlexScan EV2216 and EV2450 desktop monitors to be used across the hospital within the general offices, consulting rooms, theatres etc. Approximately 50 monitors have been installed to date, with a planned roll out of over 300 this coming year.
